Hi guys, I hope some of you may be able to help.
I have an iPhone 3GS from Orange. About a month ago I was cut off by them and am in a dispute with their accounts dept over outstanding bill.
I have now got an O2 SIM only iPhone contract and am obviously itching to be able to use the SIM in my iPhone. O2 said I should contact Orange to unlock the phone.
My question is, seeing as though I have been cut off by Orange, will the still unlock my iPhone??
Any help/advice will be greatly appreciated.

If they think you are in the wrong (by not paying your bills or whatever) then they won't obviously unlock it.

Since this is Orange's decision, how could we know what they will do ?

My money is with previous poster. If you owe them $$$, doubt they will unlock your phone.

Guess you shouldn't have gone over your minutes ??

if you are still in a contract with them, and havent finished paying, then i wont be surprised if they have blacklisted your phone, as it technically still belongs to them if you havent paid out your contract fully
