Help: Dented Powerbook (NYC User!!)

Hey everyone, I dropped my 12" Powerbook and it survived with a bad dent on one side. I'm considering getting it repaired in NYC or just selling it or selling it to upgrade to a MacBook. At the cost of repairing it, I feel like i would rather put my money toward a new Mac.

Does anyone know of places in NYC that trade notebooks or repair them? All the help will be greatly appreciated.

It's on 23rd st in Manhattan. They're legendary for repairs, and they sell Apple stuff also. If you need an honest opinion, they'll give it to you.

I checked them out and the repairs are looking to cost around $340 :-(

I'm seriously debating just selling it online (since it works fine) and getting a refurbished mac book pro. Does anyone know of selling a slightly damaged notebook online?

At $340 the repair is not worth it in my opinion. The cost of the repair greatly outweighs the loss you would take selling it with cosmetic damage. Just let the buyer test it thoroughly and you might lose $100 off it's value, since everything still works.
