Hi all
My son has an iPhone 7 that won't charge. It is jam-packed with photos so we are willing to do what it takes to repair it
. As I see it, two things could be wrong: The charging port or the battery. Here is its behavior:
- When unplugged, the screen with low battery + charging cable is shown (meaning: connect it).
- When plugged, the charging cable disappears but battery is still shown, alas, without the charging symbol.
The faulty behavior started after it was exposed to a bit of water in a bag, not much.
I have tried connecting it to several plugs, chargers and a Mac.
So:How should I go around fixing it?
