Hi everyone,

I'm trying to figure out what is causing kernel panics on my M1 MBA and if there's any errant software I need to delete. I've gone through the forums but can't a kernel panic report that matches mine. I think it's to do with the display? Any help would be appreciated! Thank you! For context, I'm using the apple usb c multipart adapter and my monitor is connected to a HDMI switch.

panic(cpu 1 caller 0xfffffe00161a04c4): "dart-disp0 (0xfffffe2336500000): SMMU(SMMU) error: SID 0 PTE invalid exception on read with DVA 0x1250000 (TTBR 0 SEG 0 PTE 0x494) ERROR_STATUS 0x80000004 TIME 0x5fd25aa93d15 TTE 0 AXI_ID 0)"

Thanks!

I still have occasional panics that seems to originate with XSAN driver despite the fact it is unused. 11.2beta1 does not look better so far. External drives for backup etc. can be flaky.
Clearly half-baked.
