why did after effects prompt me for my computer password???
ive never seen a program that asks you to put in ur computer password

i googled the exact prompt and nothing came up on google...

OS X prompts your when an application requires a change to system files.

If this is a legit copy of After Effects then I doubt you have anything to worry about. If it isn't then I would be wary of putting your password in.

There's a few applications that prompt for user account credentials. I get prompted by Apple for running Software Updates every time. As mentioned, if you got the program legitimately, then you don't really have anything to worry about.
