So I don't get this, I ordered the specific screen a Macbook Pro Lp171WU1 TL B1 and replaced it. Though the inverter cable hole was misaligned by a cm and the indented side of the screen was flush instead, it had the same model number and worked.

BUT, if the battery every goes completely dead, upon reboot there's digital garbage on the screen!

The only way to fix it is to hook up an external monitor to set the proper screen resolution, then it stays fine.

Why in the world is this happening on the same model replacement screen and is there any way to make it permanently take the settings??
