Hi,
I posted a thread similar to this one a little bit ago...but for some reason or another it didn't go through...so if you see that ignore it (this is updated info anyway). Perhaps it was deleted because I'm posting this in the wrong place, if so, I apologize.

Anyway: ok, so I have a brand new mbp...and I put a disk in to rip it onto itunes...The first time the computer completely froze in the middle of the rip...the disk was really scratched (I assumed that was the problem)..so I restarted it and got it out (it ate it)...then I attempted to rip another...this time the cd was not scratched at all...and it froze again, the temperature leapt thirty degrees...err, I have no idea what's going on.
I'm assuming its an itunes problem...but shouldn't my new mac be able to cope with this?
Any tips? Thanks.
