hi

could i please have any suggestions for display monitors to hook up to my macbookpro.

I am looking for a 24 inch size screen.

Programs that I use or will be using are photoshop, illustrator, indesign and flash...

I have seen apple, dell, hazro, eizo all mentioned but never specifically for this reason....

budget 200-300 pounds

is there a optimum contrast, ms etc that i should aim for?

any help would be great!!

Dell 2409WA if you can find one. It has IPS panel.

I have BenQ E2400HD and I've liked it a lot. 24" 1920x1080, HDMI, VGA, DVI, built-in speakers etc. All for 239€. Great for me but I guess colors matters you? Then it ain't the best choice, but still OK.

hp LP2475w

8-bit IPS panel, more inputs than you can use, a sweet gamut, and it looks pretty professional.

However if you want to go the extreme-superduper-chicken, you want a LaCie, Eizo or NEC SpectraView.

However all of these are out your range, all ranging the 1k mark.
LaCie: click

NEC: click

Eizo: liek color
