Hey, just wondering.. when you logoff, does dropbox display a dialogue box? It happenes to me when the computer is cleaning up space used by that home directory encryption thing...

A dialog box from the running application? No, I don't think so. But I've also never used FileVault. That's what you're referring to, right? What's the dialog box say?

It didn't work
Maybe because I have mac os x?
And I believe that was for Mac os

Those are the same. You need to specify if you're using 10.5 (Leopard) or 10.6 (Snow Leopard).

Mac OS = Mac OS X = OS 10
(except when talking OS 9 or earlier of course).

An alternative is to do a Archive and Install with your OS discs. This will keep your files and applications while restoring other files like Dock.app.

That was the Dock app for Snow Leopard. Which version of Mac OS X do you need.
PS: There was never a dock.app in classic Mac.

I'm still on tiger, which I doubt anyone is but if you are please post. Otherwise I'm most likely just ordering leopard and that will fix it I believe.

Do you still have the Tiger install disk? Dock.app is on there. If you have it, I can help you find it.

Edit: Nevermind. I tried searching through the disk's file structure and couldn't find it. I'll keep trying, but someone smarter than I will have to help...or someone running Tiger ;)
