From I'll I'm reading it should work but I dun wanna fry my emac.
from what I read they oc differently and the power button header is on the otherside of the board but otherwise it seems identical
this thread here https://forums.macrumors.com/threads/53733/ points to it being true if you really read the whole thing but at times they get into very specific talk and leave out crucial details it's like an insiders club. Any of you not just OC your e-macs but did logic board swaps for whatever reason and replaced an 800 or 1ghz ati 7500 (sec gen logicboard) with a third gen one? I have high hopes because they sell the same DCB for all eMacs but the 1st generation.
Also if it does work do I have to format the HD and reinstall leopard and 9.22?because I don't know if the ATI7500 drivers could kill the ATI9200 video?
I know I'm gonna have to use ddr mem easy enough I got enough laying around.
