So I tried to downgrade to 2.2.1 using the Gizmodo guise. I was able to successfully get it up and running, but I have no wireless at all. No At&T no bars, no Edge etc. Nada.

Any help is truly appreciated.

Also, now that it is jailbroken, is here a way to put the ligit copy of 2.2.1 back on?

Just restore to a normal 2.2.1 firmware in iTunes. Try that.

That didn't work. Gave me the 1030 error or whatever and put me back into recovery mode. So when I jailbreak it I don't get a signal and when I try to go back to the legit 2.1.2 it gives me an error and puts me into recovery mode. I must be screwing something up here. Any more ideas?

Have you tried DFU mode and restoring to a normal 2.2.1?

After restoring turn 3G off and see if you can get an edge signal then. When I restored from beta 1 to 2.2.1 I could only get a signal with 3G off. This was in areas with no 3G coverage (even though it should default to edge).
