I thought I read that you can save photos from online directly to your iPhone 3G by taping the photos or holding your finger on it, but I can't seem to figure it out. For example if I have a picture on an online photo album, can I save it to my phone wirelessly? I tried doing a google search and searching on this forum, but didn't see anything. Thanks in advance for any help.

It should work, just hold your finger on an image and the option should pop up. Go to google.com and try saving the google picture first to test it out.

You should be able to simply touch the pic for a second or two until the save dialog pops up and then press save. The pics will show up in Camera - Photo Roll. If the save button doesn't pop up, it could be that saving is disabled on the site you have surfed to.

That's strange. It worked with a random image on yahoo, but wouldn't allow me to save a picture from my online picasa album.
