Hey!

I have a macbook pro for one year now. Recently, while it was in a case, I dropped it while I was putting the computer down on the ground (it slipped out of my hand).
At first I thought that nothing was wrong with it, but when I opened it - the screen started "catching" a little bit, if you know what I mean. Everytime I close or open the lid, it catches a little bit.
If I look on the side, it is hanging over for about a half mm.

I included some photos. They are not in a high quality, because I tried to take them with my iphone.

I am not sure whether or not I should get this repaired. I am not sure how serious it is either. Can anyone give me some advice on this? And does someone knows how much it would cost to let it be repaired?
This is the only thing that is broken though. Everything else works fine.

Thank you!

It may be worth taking it in to Apple, it just sounds like your hinge is now misaligned.
There is a possibility it may get worse or loosen over time.
If you have Applecare they may void it if there is evidence of drop damage.
