I have a 466 G4 and I want to buy an aftermarket DVD-RAM and iDVD so I can make DVDs. I am concerned about compatibility between dvd-rams and iDVD. Does it have to be a pioneer to work with idvd? Thanks

i'm pretty sure idvd only works with dvd-rs... i was under the impression dvd-rams were a data storage media only...

okay then.... thanks for the clarification. I just want to make dvd movies with idvd. What do i need to buy? Thanks

if you have a g4 tower then you can get a pioneer dvd-r drive and install it... i don't know of any external dvd drives that are supported by idvd...

i'm sure others can give some more help on pricing/availability
