Help!!! (F12 and other buttons no longer work after update)

I'm new in the forum, and i'm portuguese. I'm a little bit confused where I had to wrote this post. So here it goes...
I made the update to os X leopard 10.6.8 on my MacBook yesterday and my f12 button, plus button and other button bellow plus button doesn't work anytime :ssss
anyone can help me please? or give me a tip if happened to anyone else??
