iPhone Help - Factory reset via Settings.app on JB iP4

I dunno why but I decided to do my factor reset for the iPhone 4I'm selling via the iPhone's Settings.app as per the first Google result I found.

It's been spinning for over an hour now and it's getting me nervous. Will it eventually be done, or should I reset via iTunes? If so, how to do this during its "spinning" state?

You need to connect to iTunes, put your phone in DFU mode (google to find directions), and restore.

As far as I know, reset from the Settings.app never works on a jailbroken device. You should always do it from iTunes.

Okay that sounds like a MUCH better plan I should have just done that from the start.

Pushing that button on a jailbroken phone generally results in having to perform a restore.
So much for the 1st choice in Google
