I'm trying to figure out why my screen will randomly FLASH. It sort of looks like a screenshot, but it doesn't have a corresponding sound. ALTHOUGH, I have found that when I get this flash I often will see that my VOLUME slider has no function.

Concern is that something is resident on the machine. Has disabled the volume and is trying to take screenshots to capture information.

I've done MWB scans, I have avast running and have it scan everything. Nothing shows up. I know there are some ACCESIBILITY settings that will turn sounds into screenshots for some users, but that setting is not enabled on my machine.

I have little snitch always running, and have logs and details there. nothing seems to rise to the surface. I have a bunch of logs, and nothing in the detail stands out to ME, but I'm not sure.

How can I deduce if this is a malware or virus issue or something else and how can I figure out what the HECK it is.?
