Help finding a Expense and car mileage application?

I want one that WORKS and FUNCTIONS properly. I've tried reading about some but can't really find one that the reviews say works like it should without some posters seeming biased. I don't want to spend any money on one only to find out it doesn't work as stated. I want to make in informed decision but the reviews and the way the app store is setup, isn't very useful to find apps that work. There are a lot of similar apps some work, some don't. Some have better features than others but it's just hard to determine that based upon the way its setup now.
