I have an iPhone 4 and the fingerprints along with the smudges is becoming unbearable. Is there anything I can do? Is a screen protector my only answer? If so which one?

Burn the ends of your fingers. That will get rid of them.

Screen protector I guess.
Best Skins Ever, Invisible Shield, and Power Support are all great.

Dude, wash your hands!

Seriously, though. I usually have a microfiber cloth with me to wipe it down from time to time. The cloths are very cheap, so I put one in my computer bag, my car, my desk at work and home, etc. That way, I always have one nearby. Takes 5 seconds to wipe my iPhone down.

An anti-glare/anti-fingerprint protector such as the iVisor would massively reduce your problem. Either that or you could carry a micro-fibre cloth in your pocket, like I do, and give it a wipe-down occasionally.

I had the genius guys put a power support anti glare film on mine and it's great! Doesn't show much at all.
