Help! Folder deleted after using Geektools

Hi I just encountered a problem where one of my desktop folders with .doc files saved in them has disappeared. This occurred after I customized my desktop using geektools. I tried locating it in Finder and it could not be found. I tried going onto word document and clicked on the missing files and it said it cannot be found. Anyone know what I can do to recover this folder? I did not put it in the thrash and empty it either. Thank you.
