hi people having joined the apple revolution and i have to say i love my mac book pro 15 i have a problem i am hoping some one can help with
when i plug my mag safe in the not charging comes on next to battery icon having replaced the battery with new one and also replaced the adapter i am at a total loss what to do next can anyone please please help like i said brand new to the apple system so i freeley admit i am a complete novice

A few things could be causing this.

1) You have a faulty Magsafe adapter.

2) Try an SMC re-set following the instructions below:

http://support.apple.com/kb/HT3964?viewlocale=en_US&locale=en_US

If that fails to correct your issue, try borrowing another charger and see if that solves the problem.

OP has already replaced the adapter/charger. Hopefully an SMC reset will do it...
