Hello everyone. The other day, unfortunately, I accidentally dropped something and it hit the casing of my 2023 Mac Studio, which I take great care of, leaving a small dent. Is there a way to repair it without having to replace the entire casing? Thank you very much.

Not really, most you can do is maybe bang out the dent from the opposite side but since you're asking this question I'll assume you're not familiar with dent repair so might as well just leave it alone.

The only way it would be replacing the housing of my MacStudio?
In that case, it would be better to buy Apple Care before take my MacStudio for replace the housing? It will cost me cheaper? Thanks in advance

thats the picture of the dent

That looks like more of a chip than a dent. Not really a lot you can do, other than a crude attempt to try and paint over it with some silver acrylic or something like that. Some acrylic paint and light sand paper, but honestly I wouldn't try it. Might make it worse.

If it really bothers you, then you can order a case from the spare parts site, then disassemble your Studio and put it in the new case. Apple has the instructions online too.

Just ignore it. It is a computer and the dent will not slow it down.

It looks like a chip, and Apple won’t replace case under AC+. Buy an outside enclosure for Mac Studio if it bothers you.

Here is how a friend of mine would deal with it...he used to be sort of anal retentative about similar items. He explains to his little girl his computer, box, whatever, has a bobo and she puts one of her little girly unicorn band-aids on it. It gives him a new perspective about how unimportant some things are.

I could ask my boys to do the same thing, but they would probably put a wad of chewing gum on it. 🤣
