I hope someone can help me out here. A few days ago, my iMac decided that it no longer liked audio CDs. Whenever I put one in, I can hear the drive rev up for a few seconds, and then it stops. There's a click, and then it revs up again. This process continues ad nauseum while iTunes hangs. Once I force quit iTunes, I can eject the CD with the eject button.

The weird thing is, the CD mounts to the desktop, and I have no problems reading DVDs or data CDs. Is this an iTunes problem? It didn't start with the latest upgrade, and the upgrade didn't fix the problem either. Would a clean reinstall help? I hate do to that since I'll have to reload my entire library.

Thanks for any advice!
