Help get Audio on external speakers

I had audio coming out my external speakers.
Then I fiddled with both Soundflower and Audacity for some audio recording.
I have since then uninstalled both but I can't for the life of me figure out how
to get audio coming out my external speakers again.
Everything is coming thru my imac speakers.

Apple>Sys Pref> Sound> give me no options to direct audio to external speakers.

Ideas?

What is listed in the Output tab? Did you run the actual uninstaller from the soundflower package and restart? Audacity shouldn't cause any problems
