hi everyone I recently got a new iphone XS and I was advised by Apple to setup my phone as new because they found that my iCloud backup from my old iphone has some issues.

So i did that and everything is good except I need my data from my Notes in my old phone, the question is how do I get just my Notes from my old backup and put it in my new phone?

Thanks,

Apple advice means you need to set up as new so you don't restore from the iCloud backup (or aka iTunes backup for wired). It doesn't mean you can't sync data from iCloud to the new device. Once set up the device as new, sign into your iCloud which will resync all iCloud data (Notes, Photos, Contacts, Health, Wallet etc) back to your new device.

iCloud can be used as a cloud storage for all your data to all your devices. It can also be used as a backup method.
