It's wierd. The duplicate photos are actually slightly different. One is a little darker than the other. Don't know if it's a camera issue or iphoto issue. It's never happened before. I have a Canon Rebel t3i and when I scroll through the pictures on the camera there aren't duplicates but it shows two when I connect to my Mac. I don't understand. Thanks.

Its likely you have the camera set to produce both a JPEG and a RAW image for every shot, and what you are seeing is both images on the Mac. The camera only shows one as its the same picture.

In which case, it's neither a camera or iphoto issue, it's a user issue :D
