Hey guys. I recently was given an iMac G5 by my father who moved up to a newer Mac. I used a PC before. I'm trying to get my Microtek Artixscan 120TF to work with the iMac. I do not have the Microtek installation CD, but I do have the Silverfast installation CD (alternative professional scanning software for this scanner). I installed that on the Mac. I also installed the installer I found on Microtek's driver page for this scanner. I can't get the Mac to see the scanner, even after rebooting and trying different inputs and stuff. I had a tough time getting it working with my PC but no luck with the Mac! Can anyone lend some help? It's being connected via Firewire.

have you tried consulting the Microtek knowledgebase
it shows various options for getting the scanner to work with different mac os's

Still no luck! I can't really find anything there to help with my particular scanner. I've downloaded and installed everything on their drivers page to no avail. Any ideas? Still not seeing the scanner.
