Help: Getting mp3 file to play throughout .mov file

Hi.

I've created a PPT slide show & saved it as a .mov file... when I went into the movie options as I was saving it, it had an option for a soundtrack, so I picked the mp3 file I'd inserted into the original PowerPoint slide show.

When I click on the saved .mov file, it pops up in Quick Time and plays about a nano-second of the music file. Can anyone help me figure out how to get it to play throughout the entire movie? I'd greatly appreciate it!

Alternatively, I'd like to be able to play the music in a PPS file on another computer without having to have the mp3 file...

I'm by no means a PowerPoint expert, but I would imagine that it probably doesn't handle MP3s very well for audio. Try exporting the MP3 file to AIFF instead (you can do this in Quicktime 7 or iTunes). Replace the MP3 with the AIFF and see if that works.
