So I hooked up the new beats x to my iPhone 7 in seconds and had no issues. After that I was under the impression that the headphones were now linked to your iCloud account and "just worked" on all your other devices that are signed in to that account. Worked fine with the iPad too. Turned off BT on the ipad and iphone, now trying to do it on the macbook and just can't get it to work.

Anyone else have these and have any tips? Thanks.

Have you tried it the old-fashioned way, with Set Up Bluetooth Device? (It's in Network Preferences under Bluetooth.)

Bluetooth is on, I go to the settings, my mac is discoverable but the beats aren't showing up in the list

Weird. And the Beats are turned on too?
Strange. Restarted the mac and waited a few minutes and then I just had the option to select them under the BT icon in the toolbar. Silly, shouldn't have to restart to get these to work.
