Help? (Getting Rid of MSN Messenger)

I unwittingly downloaded MSN version 6.0.2 today and discovered it was horrible. Upon trying to log out, I couldn't and no windows were closing. I naturally force quit. Then I tried to delete it. I deleted as much as I could but now I can't eject the disk because it's sill in use even though I quit it, and I can't delete what's left of MSN because it says I do not have sufficient privileges. Furthermore MSN wont open at all.

I'm frustrated and need help.

Can someone walk me through this?

Have you tried restarting and are you logged in as an administrator?

I have not restarted, no. Man I must be more tired than I thought to not think of that.

We'll see how that goes...
