help! got blue screen of death -- but windows side works?

I have a late 08 15" unibody Macbook Pro, had no problems since I got it (the day they came out, actually. I have the Windows 7 2nd beta installed through bootcamp and had been using it a lot lately and today when I went to boot back to the OSX (snow leopard, incidentally) side I got the blue screen of death -- gray apple startup then the blue screen with the gray wheel searching, then lighter blue, then blue, and so forth. I did disk utility with both the leopard and the snow leopard disks but nothing worked. Nope: no apple care. Weirdly enough -- the Windows side works just fine!
