HELP!! GUID and NTFS formats two partitions on external hard drive

I am wondering if I can make a partition of GUID and a partition of NTFS on a same external hard drive, cos I will need it for windows and Mac.

By the way, does firewire connection works in Windows over BootCamp?

I'd love to know too. If I don't find an answer soon I'll just try it and see what happens.

I don't see why firewire wouldn't work in Windows, as long as you've got a file system Windows can read.

Looks like the answer is no.

I don't think there is a way to make an NTFS partition through disk utility on Mac OS, and quick formatting the second partition on windows errors out. I'm doing a full format now, that will take a while then I'll update.
