Apple pissed all over 64 bit Window XP. When the iTunes version right before 8.0 came out, it would not install because Apple doesn't support 64 bit XP anymore. I have no functional iTune software on old Laptop.

So I go and by a new laptop.

My question is there a way to get my iTunes stuff from my previous laptop and put in on the new one with iTunes 8.0. I don't even have internet at the moment because we just moved so both my wife and I are still running 2.0 firmware.

Can you update the iPhone's firmware without Synching?

Please HELP!!!

I updated my 3G to 2.1 from 2.0.2 at work where I have nothing synced. The only thing that did not work is the Genius feature, which was not enabled until I synced with my library at home.

I also did the 2.0.1 -> 2.0.2 upgrade in this way.

yeah, just copy/paste all the files from your iTunes folder into a iTunes folder in your new My Documents, and then copy/paste the Apple folder in C:>Documents and Settings>*user name here*>Aplication Data>Apple

must have Show Hidden Files and Folders selected.
