Help- havent jailbroke since 1.1.4

I jailbroke my 2G iphone when it was on 1.1.4 and i remember that cydia automatically fixed my settings so I wouldnt run out of memory when I downloaded apps. Does it still do that on 2.1?

Also, is there anyway i can install a bunch of sources at once for installer instead of individually adding them? For example I havent found a way to add summerboard, I cant find it, so im assuming im missing a source.
