Okay my god damn beige G3 is not behaving.

I have interesting problems. The internal stock CD-Rom drive will boot up a mac os x CD but not a mac os 9 cd. whereas the external SCSI yamaha burner will boot up mac os 9 CD but not MAc os X cd's

Okay, so I want to install jaguar when i get it but i'm fiddling around with it now and hte both the mac os x.0.3 cd cannot see the freshly initialised internal stock 4 gig hard drive and neither can my 10.1 upgrade cd!! Will jaguar be able to see it, who knows?

anyway, the internal is being very sketchy and unde ros 9 does not always mount a disk, but it does sometiems and it will boot a mac os x cd (if you wait around for a while it eventually boots) whats wrong? and how can I get it to see my internal drive?

When my new powermac arrives, will I be to put the hardrive in there and install jaguar from my new powermac then put that drive back in the beige g3 as a startup disk?

thanks, i'm really tearing my hair out here\
