HELP! Hi-Speed scrolling disappeared on iPhone 4!

When playing music in iPod, the hi-speed scrolling bar to select where to move to in the track at the top has disappeared now and have no idea how to get it baack. my device has not been jailbroken. any ideas??

On the "Now Playing" screen, tap the album artwork to bring up the scrolling bar.

It's been that way since iPhone OS 1.0!
