Help hooking up my macbook to my hdtv PLEASE

Ok so I am just wondering exactly what cables i need to hook my macbook up to my tv. I have a vizio vw32l and I want to use the vga cable. I know i need to get the mini displayport to vga adapter for my 13 in mb aluminum, but I am unsure of what vga cable to get. Are there different types of vga cables? Which exact one do i need? Also, i need one that is 10 feet long. Thanks
