Help! How Do I burn a movie from Mac the Ripper to a DVD?

I downloaded Mac The Ripper and a VLC media program to watch these films...How can I burn these films to a DVD+R? Please Help..I am brand new to the Mac World and need assistance

If you want to burn you need something like Roxio Toast

look for the older versions on the web, some are freeware, some are shareware.

Instead of burning a new DVD R, you can keep the film on a hard disk and drop the ISO file on VLC when you wat to watch it.
