Help! How do I connect a WD MyBook 500Gb to Airport Extreme

Hi All, I just bought a WD MyBook 500GB when I upgraded my powerbook to Leopard. I also purchased an Airport Extreme Base Station. I would like to be able to wirelessly connect to the external hardrive but I can't seem to make it work. Does anyone have any suggestions.
