Hi,

I was wondering how do I can delete APPs on my iPhone using iTunes 11.1.

I was syncing my iPHone 4s and backing up prior to upgrading to IOS7 and I was surprised to find that there was not enough space on my 32GB 4s.:eek: UI then tried to delete APPs when viewing my iPhone through iTunes.

On the left-hand panel I see my APPs listed and some show a drop-down menu that says INSTALL or WILL INSTALL or DELETE or WILL DELETE ( what does this mean? ) If I highlight an APP on the left hand panel and hit the delete key nothing happens. If I right-click a highlighted APP there are no choices.

How do I delete APPs in iTunes before upgrading? I can always reload them later.....

I took the following steps to delete apps on iPhone permanently from my iTunes library. I use a MacBook Air and iTunes 11.0.04:

Open iTunes
Go to the Library drop down box
Select Apps
Click on individual app, press delete and hit enter
Confirm decision

Yes, That's the best and most reliable way of permanently deleting Apps. If you just delete them from your phone, when syncing via iTunes, it will often put them back again!
