Hi

I just purchased an old style apple bluetooth keyboard. The one with the numeric pad.

It did not come with instructions.

How do I pair it to my Mac Mini?

Can someone walk me through the steps? I am running snow leopard.

I am completely new to Bluewtooth.

Thanks

Jay

just like any other device add batteries turn it on and then click on the bluetooth icon and chose setup device and follow the instructions.

Plastic casing Around the Keyboard?

There is a plexiglass casing around the keyboard. Is this part of it?

My mom had one of those, where you put the batteries in there's a switch in the middle of the door (the twist-locks are on the sides of that door). When you flip the switch to on, the little green light by it will start flashing, at which point it's ready to be paired with the computer.

FWIW I believe you go to set up the keyboard first, then flip that switch on.

How Long do the batteries last?

We will be using the computer about 12 hours a day.

Any idea how ioften I will have to replace the batteries?

I really like it so far.

Thanks everyone

Jay
