I deleted some files that I don't need in Time Capsule by using "Delete All Backups of ..." inside "Enter Time Machine", but the disk space does not change. It stays the same as before. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks

For your information:
I'm running Snow Leopard 10.6.1 and time capsule is 500gb running 7.4.2 version.

Could someone with time capsule at least tell me that when you delete unwanted files in time machine, the disk space changed or stays the same? Is there a place in time machine where I can empty the trash or something? Thanks

No one? Not even one person with time capsule can tell me whether disk space changed or not when deleted unwanted files in time machine?

I've had the same issue, removing certain files from the backup, but the size does not change. I was hoping for an answer here too! Surely there must be a way to compact the sparsebundle file?

Thanks for reply. So I guess it's the same with everyone's time capsule. I'm assuming that's how time capsule works?
