Hi there.
I had a problem connecting my external monitor (Dell U2711 2560x1440) via display port. Another input source was selected in the monitor, and rMBP display turned black (Late '13, 2.3 Ghz, 750M). I disconnected the cable, set the proper input in the monitor menu, and then connected it again, but now I can´t get more than 1080p on the external monitor! If I select "Scaled" instead of Best for display, there aren't any resolutions available to chose.
I already reseted PRAM, to no avail.
However, the monitor is properly recognised and runs @ 2560x1440 if I connect display port cable to the SECOND thunderbolt port on the left. But it is inconvenient, as it gets to close to USB port, and it always worked OK on the first thunderbolt port.
How to solve this?
Thanks in advance.
