Help!!how to restore 4.2.1

I HAVE GOOGLED MY BRAINS OUT, I REALLY WISH SOMEONE COULD GUIDE ME


have a iPhone4 03.10.01
which was running JB 4.2.1 & Locked(Orange France)

wanted to erase everything on my phone since I had gone a little overboard with the applications, did it via the phone settings

didnt realise itunes would make me upgrade without an option of just restoring it back to 4.2.1,
I had planned to restore it to 4.2.1 and then Jb all over again

SO
my phone is in Recovery mode (showing me to connect it to iTunes)

I would like to restore to 4.2.1 > then JB it (default)

Can you please guide me how to do this, im using OSX

wouldnt mind if I could downgrade to any firmware which would allow me unlock the phone ,
turbo sim isnt a option as ive heard it keeps disconn and the process to get network is annoying in the long run

PLEASE HELP ME

No unfortunately,

(just read a few post about tiny umbrella, But I have backed up my iphone4 on itunes before)

If I have to upgrade now is there a JB for it ?
When will I ever be able to use it like a phone ? I am staying away from turbo sim as ive seen its quite annoying in the long run to make the network work.

the latest firmware can be jailbroken but it might update your baseband to one that can't be unlocked

I guess I HAVE TO upgrade my firm then?
since I dont have the SHSH files saved

Im think im never going to be able to use my iPhone4 as a phone it seems, just going to be used as my mini pc cum + camera
