Help! I cant figure out how to get Garage Band to recognize my DGS 505 Yamaha keyboar

Hi everyone. I just got a new keyboard and the software that comes with it i for a PC. I downloaded the OS X driver but garage band still doesn't interface with my keyboard. I want to use a mic too, but can't figue that out either. I am obviously a novice to all - garage band and Yamaha...

I take it that the keyboard is USB? If so looks like you will have to set up an aggregate device so that gargage band will recognize the keyboard. Make sure that you check the support section and or forums for this keyboard. The closest thing I can find on the Yamaha website is the DGX 505. On the support area it tells you to do a search of the product. Here is the search page. I hop this helps you.
