help I can't remove my battery the coin operated / broke off and no no no turning twisting pulling and pushing will get it to release the battery I need it to come out so I can replace the screen so I don't know what to do I don't really care if it ever works againI just have to get the battery outdoes anybody have any idea how to get this done?

Just stick a large screwdriver in the large slot in the middle and turn it clockwise through 90 degrees - the metal catches will release the battery...

Easy !!!
 
I've tried that it just spins and spins. And i can't seem to figure the way the mechanism is supposed to work
 
It's the MacBook 3,1 A1181 i don't know the year because i got it third hand
