Help! I did something to Mail

I double-clicked on something I don't know what and suddenly I don't have a reading pane for my mail. Now to view the text of a message, I have to double click it. I want to have my read and unread messages in the top pane and the actual message display in the botton pane. What did I do wrong. I looked in Prefs and couldn't find a way to change this!!!

Look at the bottom of the mail window. You will see a little dot. Hold down your mouse button on the dot and move upwards.

Your message pane should be back.

I'm such a dork..I see how I can just drag the pane from the bottom to the top...Problem solved!!
