I have a 2.93 GHz i7 with 8Gb Ram; and I have also upgraded my hard drive to 2Tb. 1Tb being windows 7, and 1Tb being Mac OS X.

I have just tried to upgrade from Lion to Mountain Lion, and I cannot see my hard drive any more. In disc utilities, it can see my hard drive, but it wants to repair it, which means reformat it.

I cannot see my hard drive at all when I try to reinstall from time machine, or when I try to reinstall Mountain Lion.

Is there any way that I can recover my hard drive, so that I don't have to reformat and erase my old partitions, so that i don't have to set up all of my apps (both windows and Mac OS) from scratch again?
