Hello forums,

I looked in a couple threads here about partitions and I have a slightly different problem than them.

I set up boot camp with the assistant and everything went well. I set up windows 7 with a 25 gb partition. However it wasn't enough to install the needed software to do my development work. (Visual Studio, Sql server management studio, etc)

So I saw a way to take some more space out of mac, then boot windows and use a tool to add it to that partition. Well. it seemed to work and when I went to reboot to mac, my windows partition was no longer found to be bootable.

So I've got 2 main problems. My mac partition won't recover what i took away from it, (the 15gb i took in expand windows).

I know have another 25 gb (my original windows partition) as well that i can't seem to get it re-merged to my mac partition.

I reformatted the original partitional to the same file format my mac partition i, hoping disk utility will be able to re-merge them to no avail.

I need help! please advise!
