When I use the ipod function to play music, i plug in my headphones & nothing happens, the sound still comes out through the handset.

I can't see how to turn off the internal speakers

Anyone got any ideas?

Thanks

are you using the iphone headphones? If so, your iphone is broken...if not, since the iphones headphone jack is recessed, regular headphones don't make full contact and therefore don't work. you can find adapters at your local apple store or online

I bought the Griffin adapter when I got the phone from the Apple Store. I was gonna modify my CX300s but couldn't be bothered in the end.

does sounds like a headphone thing!
2 mins with a scalpel and my sure headphones work beautifully with it now just got to add a sure mic adapter to my xmas list and I'm away!
